"I don´t sing karaoke a lot"

Heikki Kovalainen who has taken an interest in drumming has invited Nightwish to the pits.

Heikki Kovalainen from McLaren talks willingly about his civilian life in an interview for ITV Sport. The man from Suomussalmi has budding talent for music.
- At home in Geneva we have a bomb shelter and I have bought a drums kit there. I put my head set on and play along. I´m getting better all the time!, Kovalainen says excited.

In addition to drumsticks, a microphone stays firm in Heikki´s hands even though karaoke doesn´t take place every weekend.
- I don´t sing karaoke a lot, at least I don´t remember doing so! We have a legendary song in Finland called "The trucker". The lyrics are about what makes driving a truck so good , so I sing that song.

But there´s no doubt about his favourite music.
- My favourite band is Nightwish from Finland. I have always listened to rock and metal, the Formula star says.

Being a fan has proceeded to actually meeting them.
- I know all the band members since I met them in a concert last year. I have invited them to the pits in the Brazilian GP, Kovalainen reveals.
