I will forgive someday

After 9 years fellowship Tarja took the dismissal letter as a shocking insult. She was fired at a-one-day’s notice, when she herself had told the band a year ago in December that she is going to head for a solo career in 2,5 years.
- I understand that I was fired, but why they couldn’t say it to me personally? I feel really bad for that. We could have ended up in same situation even if they had done it in a different way. Anyway, I’m grateful of these nine shared years, Tarja said and burst into tears.
This is how media got what they wanted. Paparazzi photographed the tears of the broken artist, so that the world would see the picture of the wounded and fragile Tarja.
- How can they, after so long cooperation, say bad things about me which aren’t true? We were never friends and we didn’t talk with each other, the letter showed it, Tarja continued after apologising her crying.
Tarja says that being in front of the media was hard, talking even harder. Everything she experienced she is however going to turn into her asset and is going for a solo career. When Nightwish finds a new singer, Tarja is going to be the first one to support the girl who is brave enough to come to her place.
- Maybe someday I will forgive the boys how they did this dismissal, but I will never forget. My heart was broken, but I’m not bitter, Tarja finished and left with her head down.
